Housing Program
Most of the poor households in Uthiramerur block in Kancheepuram district are access to the Free Housing Program by the Central and State Governments. But in most of the cases, the beneficiaries are could not able to complete their house construction due to scarcity of funds. With this in mind and with the support from Habitat for Humanity, this program is being implemented in Uthiramerur block in Kancheepuram district to supplement as a loan to complete the housing programs whereby the beneficiaries are also protected from the money lenders with the exorbitant interest rates.
With this program, we also intend to transform the housings of the Narikuravas and Irulas, the nomadic tribes in Kancheepuram district in Tamilnadu.
